Neighborhood

We are located in the heart of Far North Dallas. We are near Dallas’s two major shopping centers and two of the major hospitals.

Far North Dallas is the section of the city of Dallas, Texas which extends north of the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway.[2] Far North Dallas is part of North Dallas, however is viewed as a distinct area. The area has strong social and economic ties to two inner suburbs of Dallas, Richardson, and Addison.

Hospitals
We are 13 minutes from Texas Health Dallas, 6 minutes from Medical City Dallas, and 25 minutes from Baylor Medical Center.

Shopping
We are 8 minutes from the Dallas Galleria and 13 minutes from the North Park Center.

Universities/Colleges
The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), part of the state public University of Texas System, is located in the city of Richardson, is adjacent to Far North Dallas, and is in the heart of the Telecom Corridor. UT Dallas, or UTD, is renowned for its work in combining the arts and technology, as well as for its programs in engineering, computer science, economics, international political economy, neuroscience, speech and hearing, pre-health, pre-law and management. The university has many collaborative research relationships with UT Southwestern Medical Center. UT Dallas is home to approximately 21,145 students.

Richland College, part of the Dallas County Community College District, is located in nearby Lake Highlands. The school was founded in 1972 and is the largest school in the DCCCD, featuring nearly 22,000 students. Richland is the only community college to receive the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award.

Brookhaven College, part of the Dallas County Community College District, is located near Far North Dallas. Brookhaven opened in 1978, making it the newest college in DCCCD, featuring nearly 11,000 students

Texas A&M’s TAMU-Dallas campus (the Texas AgriLife Research and Extension Center at Dallas)[3][4] is also located in the Far North Dallas. TAMU-Dallas is the home of the Urban Living Laboratory, which is a research and urban lifestyle community built with state-of-the-art green technologies.[5]

All guests are required to park in visitors parking or you will need to use the provided guest passes in order to use the garage parking.

The place has been uniquely decorated. We offer 32″ Smart TVs in every bedroom and queen-sized beds.

We offer a very spacious living room with a couch and seating for a family game night.

We have a kitchen with bar-style seating for 4 along with dining seating for 3.

Transit

This neighborhood is best for those that have a vehicle but if you don’t have a vehicle we are really close to the 360 and 451 bus stops. Uber drivers are usually less than 10 minutes away as well.

Notes

There is a $20/night pet fee for a maximum of $200. All pets must be below 20 pounds.
If you are bringing your pet we do require that you provide vaccination papers.

The beds in this unit are extremely high up due to the box spring. Let us know if this will be an issue for you. We have other units with lower beds.

We like to cater to those staying mid to long term. If you’re a traveling professional, travel nurse, or in between housing while getting a house built or remodeled this is a perfect location for you.
If you’re looking for a weekend getaway or for leisure purposes this probably isn’t the best location.
