Networking is king! A partner of mine heard one of my goals for a private room that I have and he was able to supply me with a client that met that goal. He told me his goals and I was able to supply him with a client that met his goals. In this instance we were both paid for helping each other complete our goals. This is excellent in business. Let me show you how it worked. I was charging $600/Mo for my private rooms in my home but my goal was to get up to $750/Mo. I shared my goal with a good business friend of mine and he was able to supply me with someone that was willing to pay $950/Mo. We wrote up a contract where she would be paying $950/Mo and my business partner would receive $200/Mo. He pretty much arbitraged my furnished room. There are plenty of people that would say why not cut out the middle man and make $950/mo. In my eyes everything is full circle you help others so they can help you. Last week I had someone inquire about one of my properties but I was at max capacity on all of my units. I called my partner and he had room in one of his properties. His goal was to make $3000/Mo off of his property. The client was willing to pay $4000/Mo. He received his $3000 and I received $1000. This is the power of networking and building a solid rapport with people.
